UNIVERSITY GRADUATE IN SCIENCE 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TESTING AND LABORATORY MANAGEMENT TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:? Liaises with client or client representatives visiting the laboratory to understand client requirements, discuss scope of work, explain terms of payment, resolve conflicts, and ensure good client relations. ? Reviews quality of data presented to him by supervisor level personnel; Quality of data collected/prepared by him does not require review. ? Receives test schedules from Geotechnical Project Staff and Clients requiring. ? Ensures tests are performed with applicable standards, trained personnel, and calibrated equipment; manages personnel and resources to accomplish testing objectives in a timely and efficient matter. ? Provides advice to Project Personnel writing proposals for pricing of laboratory tests, scheduling of work, and availability of resources. ? Approves laboratory data for ready insertion into analysis and reports. ? Continuously seek new business and the opportunity to develop business with existing and new clients.
