UNIVERSITY POST – GRADUATE IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES/ ENGINEERING AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:? Plan and execute the environmental monitoring, assessment and allied studies for industrial and infrastructural projects. o Asses existing or potential environmental impact of land use projects on air, water and land. o Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation and recommendation reports. o Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits and standard operating procedure. o Inspect industrial and municipal facilities and programs in order to evaluate operational effectiveness an ensure compliance with environmental regulations. ? Conducting environmental baseline and monitoring studies as required. ? Assessment of environmental project’s need in term of technical and administrative resources. ? Co-ordination with monitoring terms and providing technical training to the environmental technicians as and when required. ? Preparation of technical proposal for environmental studies inquiries. ? Liaising with clients and statutory authorities as required for effective completion of assigned tasks. ? Track of statutory requirements, optimization of environmental resources. ? Technical assessment of environmental monitoring equipment/environmental resources (software’s) as per the project requirements. ? Develop proposed project objectives and targets, and report to management on progress in attaining them. ? Maintain, write and revise quality-assurance documentation and procedures.
