As a member of the Application Development team the Hyperion EPM Developer will participate in broad, complex, and critical Planning, Budgeting and Cost Allocations tasks and activities, providing support to project team members, subject matter experts, and end users. Analyzes business needs to help ensure proposed solution meets the project’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and complex aspects of applications and technology installations. The Hyperion EPM Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and tuning Hyperion EPM products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Must have at least five years of Hyperion Planning and Budgeting (HPB), Hyperion Profitability and Cost management (HPCM) experience (EPM Version 11 Required), implementing Capex, Workforce, Opex, Revenue Planning and Cost Allocations.
– In depth knowledge and experience in all HPB and HPCM implementation, development, customization and maintenance
– Must have experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and FDM using standard ERP connectors
– A deep understanding of DW and DSS architecture, design, and implementation is required.
– Develop, implement and document Intuitive BI reports and dashboards.
– Subject area business knowledge in Finance, General Ledger and Oracle E-Business suite data sources essential.
– Essbase (BSO/ASO), Maxl, MDX, Calculation Manager and Calc scripts development required.
– Integration with OBIEE 11g, design and reporting development skill essential.
– Quality assurance of data provided.
– Liaise with business analysts in terms of business requirements.
– Liaise with developers in terms of data solutions to be provided and support to Hyperion EPM users on data related issues.
