An electrical and lighting wholesale company in Abu Dhabi is looking for:EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANTJOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:The candidate will manage the bookkeeping activities of the company, prepare payrolls and genral HR functions, issue invoices, and track collection in addition to other accounting tasks.Responsibilities: To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque / voucher in a timely manner To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts To enforce credit control To allocate cash to different departments / divisions and ensure that the direct staff complies with itREQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:– 5+ years of experience as an accountant in the UAE is a MUST. – Familiarity with accounting software – Familiarity with VAT accounting – UAE Driver LicenseEXTRA QUALIFICATIONS (The following are not requirements but are considered a plus):– Arabic language knowledgeOFFICE HOURS Saturday-Thursday, 8am-1pm and 4-8pmCOMPENSATION AED 2000-3000 depending on experienceDue to the anticipated volume of responses, we will contact only those candidates who most closely match our requirements.
