Job Description:

Short Overview of the Roles & Responsibilities:
– Monitor network performance LAN/WAN Networks and use; work with internal project teams to improve network issues.
– Purchase hardware and other IT supplies.
– Choose new technologies and services to be implemented, provide estimated for effort and cost to build new IT infrastructure functions.
– The design and implementation of network services and systems administration services in a mixed environment of Windows and multiple flavors of OS.
– Manage the day to day operations of the Data Center on a 24×7 basis along with the ups, cooling units, servers, switches & routers, firewall etc…
– Review, recommend, and implement new work procedures that result in efficient, streamlined processes for the support group.
– Ensure the overall technical infrastructure and support services effectively address the customer’s support services requirements.
– Manages department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources.

– Responsible for managing and establishing time lines, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and maintain effective communication with Technical Support Coordinators (TSCs) and Systems Engineers (SEs)
– Evaluate and resolve complex administrative and technical issues.
The candidate must be familiar with the following:
– Mixed environment of Servers Hardware such as Cisco UCS and IBM Servers.
– Cisco IP Telephony, Voice Gateways and FAX solutions.
– Mixed SAN Storages & Backup Solutions like IBM, Netapp…etc.
– Mixed and multiple firewalls brands such as Juniper, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto.
– Cisco Networking Devices; Routers, Core Switches like n7000 and edge switches.
– Datacenter (Tear 2 and above) equipment such as UPS, Cooling units, firefighting….etc.
Personal and Interpersonal Skills:
– Strong consultancy skills, organization sensitive, analytic and problem solving/analysis skills and proposing improvements.
– Considers team strengths, development priorities, and divisional accountabilities, when distributing tasks and accountabilities
– Working with other teams, resolve operational issues across projects
– Strong oral and written knowledge of English.
