Hiring for Engineering Laboratory CHEMIST in AL AIN

Responsibilities:
– Ensures that all chemical testing assigned are carried out in accordance with relevant standards.
– Performs preparation and standardization of chemical reagents.
– Ensures that all tests assigned are performed in expedient, quality conscious manner.
– Performs Internal Quality Control (IQC) tests for all chemical testing.
– Responsible in informing the laboratory supervisor in case of any chemical equipment defect/breakdown.
– Follows up the requirement for safety, using appropriate protective tools.
– Following up the requirement for good housekeeping.
– Responsible for routine daily maintenance of chemical equipment.
– Responsible for sample storing and disposal.
– Performs other duties assigned.
Requirement:
– Bachelor’s in chemistry or related scientific discipline is required.
– 3 to 5 years experience in the testing laboratory field.
– Experience working in ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 is preferred.
– Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
– Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
– Enjoys variety and a fast paced environment.
– Ability to quickly learn laboratory techniques.
– Works well independently and in a team environment.
