FILIPINO EXPORT CO-ORDINATOR

Our Trading Company has established itself as an industry leader for the past 18 years and we are in need of an EXPERIENCED EXPORT COORDINATOR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaising with the international customers, forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure that the export shipments will be arranged accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with the customer and country requirements without compromising the company specified rules and regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible in preparing the export documents required to execute the shipment such as Packing list, Shipping Invoice, BL Instruction, Delivery Approval, IMCO, etc.
Monitoring of the shipment status from packing in Warehouse up to delivery to the final destination.
Verification of the details and documents provided by the Forwarders e.g. Shipment Schedule, AWB/BL.
Ensure that the documents required by the destination agent are submitted on time especially for USA shipment (Import Security Filing).
Responsible for ensuring that customer and country requirements/restrictions are followed.
Coordinates with the internal stakeholders for payment verification and approval before releasing the goods.
Complete reporting of shipments arranged and issues encountered.
Liaise with the forwarders for the freight rates per destination with the confirmation from the Operations Manager.
Verification of Freight Invoices to ensure that the amount is same with what has been agreed.
Filing of insurance as required.
Prepare and submits the shipment summary report to the accounts department for the billing of invoices.
Processing of re-export shipments.
Reporting of the pending orders and coordinates with the Warehouse admin for instructions related to packing, payment status and delivery.
Safekeeping and filing of export documents.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Relevant experience, an advantage
Expertise with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Strong level of written and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
Should be able to present themselves in a professional manner at all times
Strong Leadership Skills
