Appliance / Maintenance Technician – Kabul – Afghanistan (Dubai)

ACCL International is currently sourcing Appliance / Maintenance Technician for its Afghanistan Operations .Candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in the specialized field./ Candidate with previous Afghanistan Prime contractor experience would be Preferred All successful candidates will read, write and speak English to an acceptable level. / Any applicant applying for these positions must be in excellent health and will need to pass a standard company medical test prior to deployment.Job location will be in Kabul, Afghanistan.Experience: 2 – 3 yrs.Job Summary:Under direct supervision, employee will repair damaged or malfunctioning DFAC appliances as well as install & maintain functioning appliances, maintain grease ducts, & minor electrical, HVAC, & refrigeration units.Job Responsibilities:1) Examining appliances & identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns. 2) Performing maintenance work on DFAC appliance & facility equipment. 3) Repairing or replacing defective or Damaged appliance components upon approval. 4) Advising DFAC workers on how to use appliances correctly 5) Cleaning & Maintenance of Grease Ducts & Traps per OEM (original equipment manufacturer) Standards & requirements 6) Perform minor maintenance & preventive maintenance on DFAC electrical, generators, reefers, and HVAC equipment. 7) Installing various large appliances for customers, such as washers, wall ovens, and stoves 8) Maintaining an accurate record of all items/ parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances 9) Performs other qualified duties as assigned. Experience & Education: 1) Minimum of one-year Appliance maintenance or relevant maintenance experience. 2) Prefers ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 3) Proven experience repairing, installing, & maintaining appliance, & related DFAC equipment 4) Ability to use various hand tools. 5) Ability to stand for extended periods, & lift heavy objects. 6) Excellent problem-solving skills & communication skills 7) Additional experience / education may be required by contract or assignment. 8) Computer literate
