Location: Dubai
An International Construction Company is looking for highly qualified individuals to join a team of Professionals :
1) Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
a. Design and execute construction strategies for various projects
b. Selecting contractors, determining who takes responsibility in case of unexpected events such as natural disasters, and specifying the order in which construction activities will be undertaken.
c. Contribute to the development of a range construction programs, such as a quality assurance program
d. Ensure the commercial viability of business units by working with the project managers to achieve efficient allocation of resources.
e. Review project documents for accuracy
f. Setup site indirect for project startup
g. Overseeing subcontractor’s performance on project
h. Monitoring job cost
i. Assembling bid packages for submission to client
2) Construction Manager
Responsibilities:
a. Ensure project is completed safely, and the project runs on time and within the allocated budget allowance
b. Coordinate and supervise a wide variety of projects, including the building of all types of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals.
c. Prepare and negotiate cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables
d. Select appropriate construction methods and strategies
e. Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to workers and other professionals
f. Report on work progress and budget matters to clients
g. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists
h. Instruct and supervise construction personnel and activities onsite
i. Respond to work delays and other problems and emergencies
j. Select, hire, and instruct labourers and subcontractors
k. Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations
3) Labor Manager
Responsibilities:
a. Supervising Laborers (Masons, Helpers, Carpenter, Steel Fixers,etc.) and distributing task to Foremans.
4) Site Engineers
Responsibilities:
a. act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
b. set out, level and survey the site
c. check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
d. ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
e. oversee the selection and requisition of materials
f. agree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
5) Foreman
Responsibilities:
a. Responsible for monitoring the progress of a project and keeping it on track from a time and budgetary standpoint.
b. Ensure workers are qualified and knowledgeable about their roles and make assignments according to skill sets.
c. Ensures safe working conditions and compliance with all safe operating procedures specific to the industry.
