TOP DRIVE ENGINEER (OIL & GAS)
Professional experience:
Successful candidate should be involved in Installation, Commissioning & Troubleshooting(Electric/Mechanical/Hydraulic);
TDS3 /TDS10/TDS11SA&IDS (NOV TOP DRIVES);
DRAW WORKS BRAKE (WICHITA/EATON);
POWER SLIPS (PS21/PS30);
Overhauling of TDS3 /TDS10/TDS11;
Annual inspection of NOV equipments
(TOP DRIVE/IRON ROUHNECKS/BRAKES/PIPE RACKING SYSTEM/POWER SLIPS/RST);
DRAW WORKS BRAKE (WICHITA/EATON);
POWER SLIPS (PS21/PS30);
PIPE RACKING SYSTEM;
Reading/understanding of Electric /Mechanical /Hydraulic drawings;
Technical Support via Phone/Email;
Project Co-Ordination;
Basic Electrical Knowledge. Wiring for NOV equipments For Start up;
Oil Field experience dealing with Drilling Equipment, onshore and offshore.
Certification and education:
Bachelor Degree (in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering).
Additional information:
Successful candidate should be able to:
Reading and understanding Mechanical/Hydraulic Diagrams & General Mechanical Troubleshooting
Carry out visits to internal and external client sites within the region, onshore and offshore for the purposes of testing, supervising installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, servicing and maintaining equipments;
Efficiently supervising the company, sub-vendor and other site labour as necessary;
Conducting all work activities as per the legal legislation;
Preparing and submitting detailed report identifying all work conducted and all hours worked for all site work undertaken;
Preparing internal reports from any site observations to allow continual improvement of the Company’s documented quality system and standard design procedures;
Generating procedures for testing, installations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, service and maintenance of equipment supplied by the company as necessary;
Ensure all documentation related to the work performed is filed for future access in accordance with standard procedures;
Responsible for office based activities as necessary, including preparation of operations and maintenance manuals, spares lists and provide technical advice to clients;
Working under pressure.
