Develop new business and/or expanding into new markets
– Responsible for developing/executing the business development plan
– Conduct primary as well as secondary research to define customer needs plus
– generate business leads by building relationships
– identifying qualifying new opportunities
– Implement strategies as well as actions that create, identify, develop qualify profitable new business opportunities that grow the business
– Develop a prioritized pipeline of opportunities
– Act as a key member of the sales team
