FUNCTION
The Brickmason Foreman supervises the activities of the Brickmasons, Plasterers, Cement Finishers and Construction Laborers involved in duties peculiar to and normally performed by those trades using recognized procedures and techniques for such work.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Brickmason Foreman reports to the Supervisor of Building Craftsmen who reports to the Superintendent of Buildings.
WORK ACTIVITIE: Supervising the repairs and maintenance of masonry Systems and surfaces, including new work, plastering, cement placement, tile setting and stone work.
: Supervising the repairs of roofs, flashings and gutters, including emergency repairs performed by University employees.
: Supervising the installation and repairs to pipe insulation, building insulation and related materials.
: Supervising and inspecting the placement of concrete and poured in place cementatious materials .
: Ordering materials and equipment, keeping required records and preparing timecards for submittal.
1%: Performing related duties as assigned.
