HIRING LANDFILL MANAGER
Manages the daily operations of Landfill Manage the haulages of waste transfer stations for processing and proper disposal.
? Monitors and ensures landfill operations in compliance with safety, environmental.
? Manages staff, including hiring, training, performance management and safety issues.
? Plans and lays out the operational procedures regarding the receiving and disposing of waste, completion of construction projects and yard maintenance.
? Responds to and investigates accidents and injuries
? Monitors and manages outside contractors’ performance while on site and addresses issues, as appropriate.
? Ensuring the safe and efficient landfill operations.
? Manage, control and monitor the operation of the landfill facilities including weighbridge, workshop, material storage and liquid waste.
? Manage and monitor the application of Waste Acceptance Procedure.
? Manage the weighbridge operation, including record keeping and collection of waste disposal charges.
? Manage and monitor the utilization of all operational resources, including employees, plant and equipment, materials and consumables and third party contractors.
? Manage and monitor the vendors and contractors employed for the supply of plants and equipment, fuel, services, consumable items, spare parts and maintenance.
? Manage the sites overall environmental impact such as odor, noise, dusts, litter and vermin.
? Monitor the condition and maintenance of all site infrastructure and operational areas, maintaining the current high standard of visual appearance, nuisance control and efficient traffic management.
? Compiling Opex and Capex budgets for Landfill sites Operations.
? Ensure timely preparation and submission of requested internal and external reports.
? Compiling the monthly operations reports and year end operations report.
? Responsible for Monitoring the operation of the Landfill facility including weighbridge, workshop, material storage and liquid waste lagoon
? Responsible for monitoring health and safety of staff, site visitors and customers/contractors.
? Responsible for monitoring the environmental performance of the site within relevant company and industry standards and national legislation.
? Responsible for monitoring the application of Waste Acceptance Procedures.
? Responsible for managing the weighbridge operation, including record keeping and collection of waste disposal charges.
? Responsible for monitoring the utilization of all operational resources, including employees, plant and equipment, materials and consumables and third-party contractors.
? Responsible for monitoring vendors and contractors employed for the supply of plant and equipment, fuel, services, consumable items, spare parts and maintenance.
? Responsible for control of nuisances, such as odor, noise, dust, litter and vermin.
