Job Roles/Responsibilities/KRA:
A leading Engineering Services Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst, responsible for carrying out a detailed analysis of requirements and implementing new software solutions to support operational efficiency.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•The Business Systems Analyst is a senior resource who is responsible for analyzing and implementing the software, hardware and wider IT systems required for the business and financial objectives of the Group.
•Analyze requirements (technical and functional) and suggest innovative solutions adhering to the industry best practices
•Liaising with vendors and internal clients for resolution of the task
•Prepare documentation for system enhancements and customization, provides training and leadership to business users, and manages user security
•Perform Root-cause analysis and recommend permanent fix to the issue
•Implement process improvements and automations to optimize operational and support processes
•Conduct system tests and facilitate User Acceptance Test (UAT)
•Interface on a day-to-day basis with business users, engineers, QA, and IT managers to support business operations.
•The role requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a multi-national environment with exposure to ERP and CRM implementations, Document Management and Web Technologies.
•The candidate must have software development experience (.NET or Java) and worked in a technical or project based role with demonstrated capabilities in software implementation, business process mapping and solution delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Electrical & Electronics
Post-graduate qualification in IT and/or significant industry experience is a big plus.
EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
•Valid UAE driving license
•Experienced in leading a small-to-large scale technology transformation, migration or change programs / projects in construction or contracting companies.
•2 years software development experience in Microsoft or Java technologies for business software
•3 years of experience working with business systems and components in the realm of Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint and Database
•Continuous learner and up to date with latest trends and technologies
•Excellent communication skills, Customer and service oriented, ability to function independently.
•Must have a Valid UAE Driving License, 3 years of experience working with business systems and components in the realm of CRM, ERP and integrations
•Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Electrical & Electronics
