Experienced Accountant Cum PRO Required in Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi)

An electrical and lighting wholesale company in Abu Dhabi is looking for:
EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT CUM PRO
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountant with PRO experience in the UAE
The candidate will manage the bookkeeping activities of the company, prepare payrolls, issue invoices, and track collection in addition to other accounting tasks.
The job also requires Public Relations Officer (PRO) activities including handling different governmental transactions necessary for the business as needed.
To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque / voucher in a timely manner
To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts
To enforce credit control
To allocate cash to different departments / divisions and ensure that the direct staff complies with it
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
– 5+ years of experience as an accountant in the UAE is a MUST.
– Familiarity with accounting software
– Familiarity with VAT accounting
– UAE Driver License
EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS (The following are not requirements but are considered a plus):
– Arabic language knowledge
OFFICE HOURS
Saturday-Thursday, 8am-1pm and 4-8pm
COMPENSATION
Depends on experience. Benefits include health insurance coverage.
