· Read blueprints or technical diagrams before work.
· Prepare the layout of the project
· Estimate height, width, length and other proportions
· Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, gypsum, moldings and other drywalls
· Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures.
· Check work along the way to ensure it’s up to code and specifications.
· Build stairs, mantles, and repair or build furniture.
· Install cabinets, moldings, skirtings, cornices.
· Install partitions, doors, and windows.
· Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles and doors.
· Other tasks instructed by supervisor / Engineer.
