ELV DESIGN & ESTIMATION ENGINEER (Dubai)
Looking for experienced Security Systems Design and Estimation Engineers
Responsibilities
• Reading tender books which includes drawings and understanding the requirements of the tender book
• Understanding the rules and regulations of the security parameters set by the Qatar Security Authorities
• Designing the IPCCTV systems which consists of placing the location of the cameras on the drawings, using software tools
• Designing all the data network needed to connect these cameras to the data switches and from there on to the computer servers.
• Generating bill of quantity for each item (cameras, switches, racks, cables, fibers, servers …)
• Preparing files for each project; selecting the material, printing the data sheets of each reference, printing the drawings and getting the full file ready for submittal to the customer.
Qualifications & Experience
• Must have an Engineering Degree in Electrical/IT/Computer/Telecom
• 2/3 years of working experience in the design of IPCCTV and/or Data Networks and/or Low Current Systems
• (such as but not limited to : Fire Detection, Access Control, Audio-Video, Building Management Systems, Fiber Optics …)
• Proficient in AutoCAD. ( Certification Needed)
• Candidates with training certification with vendors of IP CCTV and/or IT such as Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM
• Excellent communication skills in English
